Hotel Review: Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence in Krakow, Poland

Krakow is one of the most touristic cities in Poland. There is quite a lot to see and do around the city and in the city itself. One of the most desirable areas to stay in Krakow is the old town. Some of the most famous hotels are located there, as well as many boutique hotels, and AirBnBs. During our visit to Krakow, we stayed at the Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence. Here is my unbiased and detailed review of this accommodation in Krakow, Poland.

Location

Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence is located in Kazimierz district (Jewish quarter), which is a part of the old town of Krakow. It is one of the most eclectic areas in Krakow with tons of quirky bars, vintage clothing shops, various galleries, and other places.

Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence is just 10 minutes walk to the famous Royal Wawel castle, and 15 minutes walk to the Market Square.

One of the big pluses of the Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence’s location is the Carrefour store right next to the hotel, tons of cafes and bars just a couple minutes walk away.

Public Area

Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence is not an actual hotel, but an apartment building. They have around 20 rooms/studios for rent in the 5 story building (with elevator). And since this is an aparthotel, as per usual in such places, there is no common area you can relax at.

The Room

We booked a room on the 4th floor (room 14). This was a corner room with panoramic windows on two sides. Since we were quite high up, the view we had was great.

Our room was split into two areas by a glass divider: the bedroom area, and living room/kitchen.

The bedroom part has a full bed and two side tables. The bed itself was very comfortable with lots of soft pillows and a warm comforter. The one thing that I didn’t like is the absence of plugs on the left side of the bed.

Bed

The living room/kitchen has a cute and very comfortable couch with a small coffee table. Opposite the couch there is a flat screen TV, a glass dining table, and a wardrobe (inside you can find an ironing board and an iron).

Kitchen

The small kitchen has all the necessary equipment: mini fridge, electric cattle, stove, microwave, and all the dishes you might need.

Bathroom

The bathroom is quite big with a standing shower cabinet. In the bathroom you can find a washing machine and electric drying rack.

I must say that the water pressure was great, plus the water always got hot very fast.

Conclusion (Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence)

The room and the bathroom looked very modern and well maintained. I loved how clean it was, and that nothing felt cheap at Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence.

The location of the hotel is itself a great reason to choose this place as your temporary home in Krakow.

I must mention that there is a bar on the first floor of the building, that always looked quite empty. However, at night it can get a bit loud.

I hope you find this review useful!
